NCEA Workshop
On the 5th of November, we held a
NCEA Level 2 Mathematics and Statistics and Level 3 Calculus workshop. In this workshop we went over some key concepts that were likely to pop up in the exam.
Students were able to submit questions and topics they wanted us to cover during the workshop and we helped students resolve any last minute questions before the final exams.

We were thrilled to hold a relay night on December 17th at 6:30-8:00 pm! As the end of the year draws near, we wanted to wrap up with something simple so we held this casual and fun event for students who wanted to take on a challenge and make some new friends!
The format of the relay online and Mathex style. It consisted of 20 questions and lasted for 1 hour with everyone being in teams of 2-3. Overall the students did incredibly well with 2 student teams finishing with full marks!

Workshops

These workshops are great opportunities for students to receive maths help. In these workshops Maths Problem Solving Tutorial students can receive feedback on the problems they attempted and all students interested in participating in NZMO round 1 can ask questions (e.g questions about how it works, what benefits there are of doing it, or how to do a past year question).
